In a conversation with Kaushik Krishnan, Chief Economist at CMIE, Pramod Kabra, Partner at True North LLP, discussed the impact of COVID-19 on the private sector, outlining present challenges and future possibilities.
Pramod Kabra is a partner at True North LLP. He is closely involved in supporting and building True North companies across different sectors including Consumer, Logistics and Financial services. He had earlier worked with Unilever for 23 years, gathering a wide ranging experience in strategy, finance, M & A, supply chain and innovations. He held various leadership positions including that of head of treasury for Asia and Africa region and Board member of the Global Home Care Category Team.
Kaushik Krishnan is Chief Economist at CMIE (Center for Monitoring Indian Economy). Among other things, he is responsible for the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey. The CPHS is a 170,000+ household panel that is representative at the national, state and almost district level. Prior to this, he was a visiting fellow at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research and he worked in the Indian financial sector.
