During COVID-19 outbreak, Prof. Anup Malani, Manoj Mohanan, Anu Acharya, Sofia Imad and Pritika Hingorani conducted a sero-prevalencce study in Mumbai. This survey was led by the BMC, Niti Aayog, and TIFR. The first round report shows 57% of slum population and 16% of non-slum population have evidence of past exposure to the virus, in a randomly selected population.
